| Abstract |
Volume II of this report describes a versatile batch incinerator that was designed and built in order to determine the operational variables in a fuel bed under similar conditions to those encountered in municipal fuel beds. Detailed operating instructions are provided. A numerical analysis of heat loss through the fuel bed wall is given. The fuel bed weighing system, its calibration and statistical analysis is presented. A computer program for the data in this work is described. |
