| Abstract |
The report gives data from a 10-month study of volatile organic compound (VOC) fugitive emissions from a high density polyethylene process unit. It gives statistics on leak frequency, leak occurrence, and leak recurrence, with a leak defined as having a screening value equal to or greater than 10,000 ppmv. The statistics are broken down into gas and light-liquid service. The report also includes a valve maintenance program; the data provide statistics on repair effectiveness. |
