| Abstract |
The iodine analog, 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2-bis(p-iodo-phenyl)-ethane, of DDT has been prepared. The method of Lucas and Kennedy was used for the first two steps. The synthesis can be completed in 2-3 days. |
