| Abstract |
Nine volatile organic chemicals are currently being considered for regulation. The report reviews and summarizes the treatment information available on the removal of these compounds from drinking water. Most of the treatment information was obtained through review of laboratory and pilot-scale studies of aeration and activated carbon absorption processes. Cost estimates for these treatment processes using a variety of raw and treated water concentrations are presented. |
