| Abstract |
On November 11-12, 1982 area and personal sampling for di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DOP) was conducted by Mr. Barry Schlegel in Building No. 9 of the Chestertown Plant. For this survey, samples were collected through a 24-hour period representing the various stages of DOP production, including the cleanout of DOP ladened filter cake from a filter. The samples were collected on 0.8 um CEF filters using Gilian HFS113 pumps operating at a flow rate of 2.0 to 3.2 liters per minute (pumps were calibrated before and after sampling). Samples and blanks were sent to Gollob Analytical Services (Berkeley Heights, New Jersey) for analysis (Report No. 51929). The results of this survey are summarized. |
