| Abstract |
This Integrative Review Plan (IRP) contains the plans for the new periodic review of the air quality criteria for O3-related effects on public health and public welfare and the current O3 standards or any revised standards that may result from the reconsideration of the 2008 O3 standards. This review will provide an integrative assessment of relevant scientific information for O3 and related photochemical oxidants and will focus on the basic elements of the NAAQS: the indicator, averaging time, form, and level. These elements, which together serve to define each ambient air quality standard, must be considered collectively in evaluating the protection to public health and public welfare afforded by the standards. |
