The Second Report is divided into 5 sections, each of which addresses the MWTA and EPA's medical waste program from a slightly different perspective. Section 1 briefly explains the purpose and content; Section 2 reviews the key issues that led to the passage of the MWTA (Medical Waste Tracking Act); Section 3 consists of a detailed analysis of EPA's evolving medical waste program; Section 4 discusses the impact of the program; and Section 5 concludes with a research update and forecast. |
