A study is presented of solid waste handling, storage, processing, and disposal systems and practices in multistory buildings, hospitals, and detention facilities. The complete study is reported in four volumes. This volume covers an investigation and evaluation of available solid waste handling, storage, processing, and disposal equipment and systems adaptable to building installations.
