Abstract |
Parked trailers can create unsanitary conditions by improper disposal of sewage and refuse. These conditions can endanger the health and safety not only of the trailer occupants, but of residents of adjacent areas as well. This manual incorporates recommendations from a variety of sources, including members of the Conference of State Sanitary Engineers. Areas covered are: site provisions; service buildings; water supply; sewage disposal; refuse disposal; insect and rodent control; electricity and fuel; fire protection; alterations, repairs and additions; restrictions on pets; restaurants; and communicable diseases. Fourteen references are included. |
