| Abstract |
Directions are provided for the use of the data collected during the Love Canal Emergency Declaration Area Soil Assessment for Indicator Chemicals study. The data are contained in a Statistical Analysis System (SAS) relational data base, comprised of ten separate SAS data sets. The data base is available from Environmental Protection Agency Region II. The data base contains data from field, preparation laboratory, analytical laboratory, and data validation sources. Over 1.8 million cells of data are contained in the data base. The user's guide gives an overview of the source system, file contents, and SAS data set structure, describes specific data sets, and discusses the combining of files. Appendices list the data elements contained in the data base and provide formulas used in computations. |
