| Abstract |
The Bureau of Solid Waste Management, has initiated a testing program to characterize the performance of incinerators of different designs and configurations. The primary objectives of this program are to produce basic information that identifies the results of the incineration process and to develop reliable sampling methodology. A rotary kiln incinerator was tested to develop basic information pertaining to the operation of the incinerator and its potential impact on the surrounding environment. The study was conducted during the week of December 9 to 13, 1968. |
