| Abstract |
Conceptual development of a integrated biological-chemical treatment system for organic wastewaters is described. A system of this type comprising a highly-loaded, short-detention activated sludge system followed by chemical coagulation and clarification is evaluated in comparison with the traditional activated sludge process.
