| Abstract |
The report evaluates the segment of Clear Creek from Golden, Colorado to its confluence with the South Platte River. It was determined that additional study was necessary to define the water flow changes, water quality, aquatic life and water rights changes that would occur with the implementation of the Metro District's Clear Creek Interceptor. The study also considered the added effect of the newly proposed Golden/Coors wastewater treatment plant. The study effort developed a flow balance on Clear Creek taking into account all diversions, return flows, etc. This balance was then used to predict effects on water quality and aquatic habitat. |
