| Abstract |
The report includes recommendations for a comprehensive national program for the preservation, use and development of the estuaries, and the respective responsibilities which should be assumed by Federal, state, and local governments, and by public and private interests. Jointly sponsored by the State of Alaska and the Northwest Regional Office of the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration, the meeting provided an opportunity for all interested individuals and organizations to express their views on management and development of Alaska's coastal zones. |
