Abstract The report is concerned primarily with the observation well logs that were established in the Hoerner Waldorf Pulp and Paper Mill water well field. A new well field was developed in 1967. It consists of four production wells and four observation wells. All penetrate the same 25-35 foot thick aquifer which underlies the entire area at about 110-115 feet below land surface. Continuous and/or weekly records of water level fluctuations in the observation wells have been kept for the period January 1967 to September 1970 and have been correlated with records of the original Danforth well collected during the course of a USGS study. The consistent recovery over the years to/or closely approaching original static head in the various production wells apparently relates to recharge from the river. (Author)
