| Abstract |
Butyl carbitol acetate does not appear to produce any significant irritation when it is applied to the skin of rabbits. Repeated applications on the skin caused only a slight exfoliation which readily cleared. This material produces a reaction comparable to that produced by ethanol or methanol. |
