| Abstract |
The report is a review by the Science Advisory Board of EPA's draft National Dioxin Study. With revisions that are identified in the report, the thoroughness of the Study and quality of the data base are scientifically supportable, given the understanding of current knowledge. The four objectives of the study were: (1) to assess 'the associated risks to humans and the environment'; (2) a study of the extent of contamination; (3) implementation of site clean-up efforts; and (4) the evaluation of a variety of disposal and regulatory alternatives. |
