| Abstract |
As part of the National Estuarine Pollution Study it is essential to describe the national estuarine system in terms of those parameters which are necessary to: identify quantitatively the present and potential uses of the estuarine resource; identify the present extent of pollution damage to beneficial uses of esturine zones; and make possible quantitative summaries and comparisons among the individual estuarine components of the national system. This inventory should provide a foundation for a continuing national estuarine inventory. (Author) |
