Abstract This decision document presents a determination that no remedial action is necessary to protect human health and the environment at the Fire Training Area (FTA) Source Area, which has been designated as Operable Unit (OU) 4, at the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) in Richmond, Virginia. The 'No Action Alternative' is the selected remedy for this site. The Remedial Investigation and the Risk Evaluation conducted for OU 4 support this decision. The concentrations of contaminants in the soil at the site do not pose unacceptable risks to ecological receptors or human health. The human receptors, which were evaluated included current and potential future on-site receptor at OU 4, including workers, construction workers, recreational users and residents.
