Abstract |
In approving the Georgia Water Quality Standards on July 18, 1967, the Secretary of the Interior requested a review of the bacterial criteria for recreational waters. Field studies to determine existing fecal coliform levels were initiated in August 1967 and terminated in November 1968. During the study period, 1,392 fecal coliform analyses were made from 910 samples collected at 136 freshwater and 27 costal water stations. |
