This codebook: summarizes key information in the Superfund Program Implementation Manual and the Enforcement Data Quality Manual; provides the range of most commonly used codes for each of the data elements in WasteLAN/CERCLIS that are associated with the specific Superfund activities discussed; serves to expedite the coding process by grouping data elements into sections that allow one-stop coding of key steps in the Superfund pipeline; provides integrated response and Enforcement coding guidance; helps information managers 'zero in' on the key data elements that define Superfund achievements; highlights those areas most susceptible to data coding problems. This guidance is intended as a quick reference tool. It is not intended to be a comprehensive list of coding requirements. |
