| Abstract |
The report presents instructions on the Toxic Air Pollutant Crosswalk System that was developed to allow easy access and updates to the crosswalk data presented in the accompanying EPA report, Toxic Air Pollutant/Source Crosswalk - A Screening Tool For Locating Possible Source Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants, EPA-450/4-87-023a. The software system is an IBM PC based application that contains a listing of industrial source categories (SIC Codes), emitting source classifications (SCC codes), and their likely associated pollutants. The crosswalk program has modules that allow users to add, delete, edit, or browse specific data and to print tables contained in the accompanying crosswalk document. EPA is making available the system and data and data base records to agency users on three high-density diskettes. The purpose of the report is to document the usage of the system. The system was designed as a tool to develop the report, Toxic Air Pollutant/Source Crosswalk - A Screening Tool For Locating Possible Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutant. |
