Abstract The objective of the plan is to develop a detailed presentation of major actions which must be taken to bring about implementation of the technical recommendations of the Areawide Waste Treatment Management Plan (pursuant to Section 208, P.L. 92-500) for the Greater Houston Area. The report identifies the designated management agency(ies) recommended as part of the management plan, required to initiate the major actions and monitor their progress. The report provides step-by-step procedures to be followed in order to (1) convert the existing recommendations into reality, (2) to guide plan-update studies, and (3) to incorporate update activities into new or revised plan recommendations.
