Articles based on formal presentations given October 22-23, 1979, at the 'Workshop on the Formation and Fate of Atmospheric Nitrates' are documented in the report. The authors discuss nitrate formation from both theoretical (gas and aerosol formation models) and applied (smog chamber and field measurement programs) aspects. The fate of atmospheric nitrates is discussed in terms of wet and dry removal processes. |
