| Abstract |
Using the CICIS Inventory it was possible to determine which chemical substances were produced exclusively in each of the 10 EPA regions. Slightly less than 50% of the inventory is region-specific. Confidential Inventory runs do not affect this finding. A regulatory status of the top 440 high production volume chemicals (a production volume range of 10-50 million lbs/yr was selected as a cut-off point) was completed and it appeared that only 95 specific chemical substances were undergoing any sort of assessment, regulation development, or were already regulated. Document will provide the regions guidance in their priority setting. |
