| Abstract |
The report assesses the role of scientists and technicians in implementing the amended Federal Insecticide and Rodenticide Act. Also included are: reviews of risk/benefit assessments in pesticide regulations; exemptions from EPA regulations; the scientific input into the administrative hearings held by EPA to determine whether the use of a pesticide should be cancelled or suspended; and EPA's conduct of its responsibility to establish tolerance for pesticide residues under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act. |
