A Symposium on The Development, Value and Use of Water Quality Criteria and Standards was held at The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. on June 23 through 25, 1980. The purpose of the Symposium was to provide a forum for policy and scientific presentations concerning the current and future role of water quality criteria and standards in water quality management.
