| Abstract |
This first EPA manual contains uniform laboratory and field methods for microbiological analyses of waters and wastewaters, and is recommended in enforcement, monitoring and research activities. The procedures are prepared in detailed, stepwise form for the bench worker. The manual covers coliform, fecal coliform, fecal streptococci, Salmonella, actinomycetes, and Standard Plate Count organisms with the necessary support sections on sampling, equipment, media, basic techniques, safety, and quality assurance. |
