| Abstract |
The goal of this support document is to help states make decisions and develop biocriteria for streams and small rivers. It includes a general strategy for biocriteria development, identifies steps in the process, and provides technical guidance on how to complete each step, using the experience and knowledge of existing state, regional, and national surface water programs. |
