| Abstract |
The document reports the results of the Agency's review of currently available evidence on cacodylic acid, specifically regarding teratogenicity/fetotoxicity, mutagenicity, oncogenicity, and effects on wildlife as toxicological areas of concern. The document contains six parts. Part I is an introduction. Part II presents general information about cacodylic acid. Part III evaluates available data on exposure and mammalian metabolism. Part IV discusses the hazard evidence for considering cacodylic acid as a candidate for the rebuttable presumption against registration (RPAR) process. The conclusions and recommendations given in Section V are based on considerations of exposure as well as toxicological evidence. Part VI is a bibliographical listing of sources cited. |
