| Abstract |
The ability of algal species to sequester phosphorus in their natural environment was evaluated. The amount of P sequestered was estimated by the density by polyphosphate (polyP) bodies within the cell. The abundance of polyP bodies was related to ambient P concentrations and tissue P. |
