| Abstract |
Analytical techniques and instrumentation, developed during the previous contract year, were perfected and evaluated for the collection and analysis of carcinogenic and mutagenic vapors occurring in ambient air. The areas of investigation included (a) the performance of a sorbent cartridge sampler for hazardous vapors occurring at concentrations of ng/cu m; (b) the design, fabrication, and performance of a portable field sampler; and (c) the identification of hazardous and background pollutants from several geographical areas in the continental U.S. |
