Abstract It is generally acknowledged that the concentration of DDT in the fat does not reflect the amount in brain tissue and therefore does not correlate with acute toxic symptoms. While some investigators have reported that plasma levels tend to correlate with brain levels, others report that no correlation exists. The present study is an attempt to elucidate this question.
