| Abstract |
The report describes the various wastes streams that are generated during the production and processing of both metals and nonmetals. The waste streams created by these techniques are presented as well as many of the current disposal practices used for these wastes. The potential for environmental degradation while handling these wastes is characterized. A number of waste disposal techniques are discussed. |
