| Abstract |
The volume documents the work completed to develop, evaluate, and rank pollution management projects that could reduce pollutant emission from Amoco's Yorktown, Virginia refinery. The effort was part of a joint Amoco/USEPA Pollution Prevention Project undertaken at the Yorktown refinery. Overall goals of the project were to (1) inventory releases of all pollutants to the environment from the Refinery; (2) develop, evaluate and rank project alternatives for reducing these releases; and (3) identify the barriers and incentives to implementing the alternatives identified. |
