| Abstract |
The record gives results of an investigation into the pollutant emission reduction and demand-side management potential of three photovoltaic (PV) systems installed at Ft. Huachuca, AZ, Ft. Dix, NJ, and Hickman Air Force Base, HI, which began operation between January and July 1997. The report documents the project and gives results of analyses of each system's ability both to offset emissions of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and carbon dioxide, and to provide power during peak load hours for the host sites and participating utilities. |
