| Abstract |
The book of selected publications on Biology of Water Pollution, Water Treatment, and Sewage and Industrial Waste Treatment contains some of the many excellent and basic pertinent biological papers that have been commonly inaccessible to the contemporary investigator. The compiled collection will be of assistance in three phases of water pollution abatement: (1) It will provide a technical service to the aquatic ecologist through the assemblage of informative literature; (2) it wil illustrate many of the concepts upon which regulations have been formulated for the protection of aquatic life; (3) it will aid in the training of new environmental scientists.
