| Abstract |
In this study, ambient perchloroethylene (PERC) levels were measured inside and in the vicinity of six self serve laundries containing coin-type dry cleaning operations. Inside two of the laundries, evaluations of organic vapor monitoring badges were performed in addition to the basic monitoring effort. Special tests were conducted during this study to measure PERC emissions from dry cleaned clothing and to measure PERC levels in an apartment above one of the tested laundries. |
