Abstract |
A wide variety of electrophysiological techniques are available for use in detection and characterization of neurotoxicity. One of these techniques, the flash evoked potential, or FEP, has been discussed in some detail to provide a forum for raising issues common to many electrophysiological techniques. The issues raised include interpretation of results and methodological variables important for successful use of the techniques. In addition, several little-used but potentially valuable methods were identified. |
