"The purpose of this project was to use theoretical mechanisms and fundamental data to evaluate the capability of carbon monoxide (CO) or total unburned hydrocarbons (THC) as indicators of incinerator waste destruction efficiency. The results were intended to 1) identify combinations of operating conditions and feedstocks for which the CO or THC emissions would not indicate reduction in waste destruction efficiency, and 2) identify areas where additional experimentation is needed to define the ability of CO or THC to indicate reduction in destruction efficiency."--Forward |
