| Abstract |
The Western Lake Survey-Phase I was conducted during the fall of 1985 as a synoptic chemical survey to characterize lakes located in regions of the western and northwestern United States thought to be potentially susceptible to the effects of acidic deposition. The Western lake Survey is part of Phase I of the National Surface Water Survey which is designed to assess the problem of acidic deposition on a national scale. The document describes the planning and execution of the Western Lake Survey-Phase I field sampling and field laboratory operations. |
