Abstract | Representatives of the Public Health Service, the New Mexico and Colorado Departments of Public Health, Atomic Energy Commission, Colorado Game and Fish Department, Vanadium Corp. of America, and Animas River water users presented statements at this conference on interstate pollution. The discussion was guided by the provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, in which a conference may be called by one state that is being affected by pollution originating in another state. Pollution monitoring data are reviewed, problems described, and possible solutions examined. |
