Abstract |
The report discusses the interaction between present and potential energy conservation measures and emission programs in various industries. Where energy conservation goals conflicted with emission control goals, the problems were assessed. Based on these assessments, research and development programs were recommended to solve each industry's problems. The study was limited both to processes in which heat was obtained through the direct combustion of fossil fuels, and to emissions that are affected by combustion itself. |
