Abstract |
Two analytical methods for measuring the bacteriological quality of drinking water are described. They are approved for determining compliance of public water systems with the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The presence of Escherichia coli in drinking water is an indication of fecal pollution and the possible presence of enteric pathogens. |
