Abstract |
The subject of this summary is a study of the development of strategies for managing the residuals that result from human activity. Residuals - 'leftovers' that inevitably result from all human activity - are often referred to as wastes or pollutants. The idea of residuals management includes both the concept of waste management and pollution control. This study contains step by step guidelines for identifying alternate residuals management strategies and then evaluating and selecting a strategy. The selected strategy will provide decision makers with an economical and effective means of solving their problem. |
