Abstract |
Iminodiacetic acid (CAS No. 142-73-4) was administered to rats in their diet at doses of 0, 200, 2000 or 6000 ppm. Duration of the study and size of the treatment groups are not indicated in this brief summary. The only effects seen from treatment indicated a non-statistically significant, dose-related decrease in pup survival during lactation days 0-4. There were statistically significant decreases in litter size at the lowest and highest test level, but these were not considered related to treatment. The authors conclude that 6000 ppm can be considered a no effect level (NOEL) for reproductive toxicity. |
