Abstract |
The Superfund community relations program promotes two-way communication between members of the public, including potentially responsible parties (PRPs), and the lead government agency in charge of response actions. The community relations activities discussed in this Handbook provide the opportunity for interested persons to comment on, and provide input to, decisions about response actions. This Handbook offers policy and guidance on planning and conducting Superfund community relations programs. It emphasizes proven approaches and activities derived from years of experience in conducting community relations in Superfund. |
