Abstract |
The report summarizes the information and data considered by EPA in developing the proposed ground-water protection standards. It gives a description of the 24 designated uranium tailings sites and their current status in the DOE remedial action program. It also presents a detailed analysis of the available data on the ground water in the vicinity of 12 of the 24 sites and describes different methods that can be used for the restoration of ground water. |
