Abstract | In order to fulfill part of the requirements, Region V of the U. S. EPA, in cooperation with the State of Ohio, issued a contract to Battelle to provide the detailed C2 to C10 hydrocarbon data. Specifically the proposed research contract required these measurements to be made by Battelle at four urban sites, two in Cincinnati and two in Cleveland. At these four locations, 6-9 am integrated bag samples were collected daily and transferred to specially treated aluminum cylinders. On EPA specified days these canisters were then shipped to Battelle, Columbus Laboratories, for analysis. A total of 60 samples was to be analyzed during the course of the field project. This report includes those results along with a description of the sampling and analytical techniques employed in that effort. |
