Abstract |
Proposed Regulation R75-8 currently before the Illinois Pollution Control Board would relax the allowable limits on sulfur dioxide emissions from certain fuel oil burning units. The present regulation would remain unchanged in Cook County. As a consequence of enacting the proposed regulation, ambient sulfur dioxide levels in Illinois would increase. |
